Hyperion Solutions Launches Dedicated Residential Elevator Business Unit to Accelerate Growth
Consolidation of the EMI Porta, Good Gate, and Vator brands, with leadership appointments designed to strengthen innovation and operational excellence in the residential market.
Hyperion Solutions today announced the formation of a streamlined Residential Elevator Business Unit (BU), bringing together all of its residential brands under one dedicated organization. This strategic move aims to deliver more targeted solutions for residential customers, optimize operational performance, and reinforce Hyperion’s commitment to innovation and growth in the residential elevator sector.
“Our new Residential Elevator Business Unit reflects Hyperion’s commitment to giving each market the focused resources and leadership it deserves. We’re thrilled to have Graham and Calvin onboard to lead this business. With their experience and vision, we’re confident that the Residential BU will thrive and deliver even more value to our customers.”
The Residential Elevator BU represents a major step in Hyperion’s new operating model, which emphasizes accountability for business performance at the individual business unit level. By consolidating products and brands that serve the residential elevator market, Hyperion will improve its ability to respond to the unique demands of residential customers, create targeted development plans, and ensure initiatives are tracked and measured effectively.
To lead this focused effort, Graham Kawulka joins Hyperion Solutions as General Manager of the Residential Elevator BU. Graham brings more than 15 years of industry experience, including co-founding Good Gate, and has a track record of developing innovative residential elevator solutions. "I’m excited to join Hyperion at such a pivotal time," said Graham Kawulka. "Consolidating these leading residential brands under one unit gives us a unique opportunity to innovate, streamline operations, and better meet the needs of homeowners and developers alike.". Reporting directly to CEO David Hewitt, Graham will oversee strategy, growth initiatives, and the integration of the consolidated brands.
Supporting operational execution, Calvin Austrom will join as Director of Operations, Residential. Also a co-founder of Good Gate, Calvin offers deep technical expertise and operational leadership in the residential elevator market. "Operational excellence is key to delivering exceptional customer experiences," said Calvin Austrom. "I look forward to working with the talented Hyperion team to enhance performance and drive growth in the residential segment.". He will focus on enhancing performance across multiple sites, working closely with Chicago plant operations leader Dave Dembowski, who will continue in his current role reporting to Calvin.
Hyperion is also making substantial investments to revitalize its residential product offerings over the next 24 months. "The next steps in the Hyperion evolution for the residential elevator segment is a great opportunity," said Dave Dembowski. "I look forward to combining my expertise in manufacturing and operations with the market experience Graham and Calvin are bringing to the team as we engage with customers more closely and show them how invested we are in their success."
